On Friday, June 20, we said goodbye to the cultural season in the Church of Christ the Savior with a beautiful concert from the Angelic Matinee cycle: “Harfissimo con violino.”

On Wednesday, June 18, a concert by the University Art Ensemble of Charles University took place at the Church of Christ the Savior. The music of Bulgarian composer D. Hristov, inspired by the liturgy of John Chrysostom, and French composer M. Duruflé, symbolically connected the Christian East and West in our church.

On Wednesday, June 11th at 7:00 PM at the Church of Christ the Savior, the Student Choir of Charles University "SPJEFF" sang and performed spirituals. The concert was an authentic joy of singing, spontaneous - just like the audience's reaction. The church was once again packed, with students, acquaintances, and our parishioners attending.

On Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 PM, the exhibition about Saint Zdislava was opened at the community center.

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, 7 children received their first Holy Communion. Let us pray for them to have lasting joy in the presence of the Lord Jesus.

On Sunday, June 1, during the holy mass at 4:00 PM, the relic of Saint Zdislava, the patroness of families and lady of holy life, was solemnly placed on the altar in the Church of Saint Lawrence in Jinonice.

The main celebrant and preacher was P. Pavel Mayer, the guardian of the grave of St. Zdislava in Jablonné v Podještědí.
• For nine preceding Sundays, we prayed a novena to St. Zdislava (always after the holy mass), starting from Sunday, April 6.
• The Church of Saint Lawrence thus becomes a pilgrimage site to St. Zdislava, the patroness of family and woman of holy life.

On Thursday, May 28, at 19:00 in the KC hall, translator Veronika Lásková presented herself as part of the Literary Café.

On Friday, May 23rd, at 6:00 PM, Night of the Churches took place. In our parish, the Church of Christ the Savior in Barrandov and the Church of St. Philip and Jacob in Zlíchov were opened.

On the weekend of May 16-18, the children from the catechesis went again on a catechetical weekend retreat = qíkendovku. The theme was Saints as stars, saints as pearls.

On Saturday, May 17th at 6:00 PM, a graduation organ concert by HAMU student Alfred Habermann took place at the Church of Christ the Savior. The concert was beautiful and the church was completely full.

On Wednesday, May 7th at 7:00 PM, a graduation concert of sacred music from the Dobřichovice School of Arts took place at the Church of Christ the Savior.

On the days of April 28 - May 2, 2025, a group of seniors, led by Father Josef, set off to the High Tatras with the aim of visiting the gazebo where Pope John Paul II rested his tired feet. The mission was successfully accomplished.

On April 26, 2025, five children approached their first holy confession. Along with them, a little catechumen named Kristýnka was also preparing.

On Thursday, April 24th at 6:00 PM, we met with Prof. Tomáš Machula as part of the Literary Café to discuss Thomas Aquinas and his teaching on life.

On the feast of Resurrection on April 20, 2025, Father Bishop Václav Malý conferred the sacrament of confirmation on ten confirmands.
